
The Syrian Kurds’ rights have often been ignored. Today, if willing to fight Assad, they could be the decisive minority. But are they willing?
In two weeks, on November 28 and 29, Lithuania will hold the third Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius. Six Eastern countries are expected to participate: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. These summits are supposed to tighten the bonds between the EU and the Eastern countries that are no member yet, with the perspective of eventual membership. However, in doing so, the EU interferes with the traditional Russian influence in these countries.
