TOP secret security documents showing that Russian special forces have killed two rebel commanders in an increasingly unstable Syria have been leaked to the Brute.
The officers, described as “high ranking” in the report, are believed to have been attacked in their Aleppo compound, which is currently facing a massive assault from ISIS shock troops and tanks. It is thought that the officers were members of the moderate Free Syrian Army faction. A British military consultant who analysed the report for the Brute described Russia as playing a “dangerous game”, in a bold attempt to destabilise the already crumbling region.
He claimed that Russia was trying to crush the rebels in the wake of Assad’s departure, allowing the failing regime to focus exclusively on halting the spread of ISIS.
Russia is yet to make a statement on the allegations.
